Barcelona · since 2006
Your brand is unknown in Spain. We fix that.
BlaNZ Group is a communications agency in Barcelona that takes international brands into the Spanish market — through the press, through national television, and through the answers artificial intelligence gives when someone asks what to buy.
Why this is harder than it looks
Spain does not read your press release
A brand that works in Munich, London or New York arrives in Spain with no name, no journalist who has heard of it and no idea which outlets matter here. Translation does not solve that. What solves it is a room full of people who have been placing stories in Spanish media for twenty years, and who own the television set where your product can sit.
Agency
Public relations and communications. A press database of more than 3,000 journalists in Spain and 150 in Portugal, built and kept warm since 2006.
Media
Our own production company and our own studio in Barcelona, and a magazine show broadcast on more than 350 channels. Not a media plan — a set your brand can be on.
Wellness
Twenty years of work in health, beauty and lifestyle, which is where our contacts are deepest and our results fastest.

Twenty years of Spanish press
El País · ABC · Expansión · RTVE · Antena 3 · La Sexta · Glamour · Crónica Global · Europa Press
The figures above cover twenty years of work. The press room publishes a verified sample of forty of those articles, page by page, so you can read them rather than take our word for it.
Case studies
Real content spreads on its own
We do not pay for media to make these numbers happen. They happen when the content and the guest are real.
Featured case
One interview, 170,000 views, no media spend
A clip from the interview with Toni Rovira was reposted by Antonio Orozco — singer and judge on «La Voz» — carrying the programme’s content far beyond its usual audience. Nothing was paid for. The clip travelled because the conversation was worth travelling.
International brands we have taken into the Spanish market, and the ones the press archive documents in most detail:

Press office
Press office in Spain Getting your brand into the outlets your buyer actually reads, often enough to stop being a stranger.Crisis
Crisis management When something goes wrong the margin is hours, and what decides it was prepared beforehand.Media training
Spokesperson training A badly handled interview does more damage than no interview. The difference is the rehearsal.Market research
Market research and positioning What is already being said about your category, who says it and what gap is left.Television
TV production and branded content We produce our own programme. A brand that fits goes on air as content, not as an advert.Distribution
Distribution and trade marketing Press coverage without shelf presence wastes the work. This is where the circle closes.Where you are arriving from
Everyone helps you set up in Spain. Nobody gets you known
Company formation, tax, employment law, distributor search: all of it is well covered, by consultancies, by the bilateral chambers and by the public investment agencies, several of them free of charge. What none of them does is get the Spanish market to know your name. That is a different trade, and the mistakes that come with it depend on where you are arriving from.
For UK brands
Your British cuttings do not travel
Why UK coverage carries no weight with a Spanish editor, why Madrid is not Spain, and the three questions a journalist asks about a British product before writing a line.

Spain is not your Latin America strategy
The most expensive assumption an American brand makes here: Spanish from somewhere else, claims that do not survive the crossing, and a spokesperson nine hours behind the deadline.

Where the entry package stops
The consultancies and the chambers do the setting up and do it well. Press sits outside all of it. Plus why specification is not a story here, and why sign-off chains miss Spanish deadlines.

How the Spanish media actually work
The wire agencies that feed everyone else, the regional layer an international plan always forgets, the two other languages, and the two months of the year in which nothing you send will be read.

Where most conversations start
Do the models recommend you?
Buyers increasingly ask an assistant before they ask a search engine. We produce a report showing which prompts return your brand, which return your competitors, and what changes that. The measurement comes first.

A 90-minute health and wellbeing magazine, broadcast every two weeks on more than 350 channels across Spain, Andorra, Latin America and Miami. Two seasons produced in our own Barcelona studio, and an archive of 84 published interviews.
